The Airnimal ChameleonThe Chameleon is a unique product - a folding bike that performs with the best conventional bikes. It features three levels of fold - remarkably, the smallest enabling it to fit in the CARRY-ON dimensions of most major airlines - yet performs well enough to be first choice in many major CYCLING EVENTS.The Chameleon is distinguished by a heat treated 7005 aluminium SUSPENDED FRAME and 24" IS0 520 wheels, which, with the carefully designed geometry, combine to make a light, stiff, fine handling bike. The suspended rear triangle has its pivot placement optimised to give a 'unified rear triangle' - which means that no power is wasted in compressing the suspension during the pedal stroke. So well does the Chameleon perform that many riders use it for their most important events and challenges. Chameleons have not only been used for self contained tours across the US and around the world, but also have been ridden to PBs, climbed the highest surfaced road in the world, completed the Etape ham du Tour and the Paris Brest, and, recently, ridden to a medal in the World Triathlon Championship. But the Chameleon is not just about looking for limits, it is perfect for commuting, utility and fun riding. In folding terms, whatever your need from a folding bike, the Chameleon has the answers. 30 seconds sees it folded ready to go in the car or on the train. 3 minutes and it is folded into a suitcase ready for checking onto a plane.
